ETA: While I was writing this post she got off the lounge, stretched, walked around the room and then climbed back on the lounge, curled up and went to sleep.

    Our cat spent all day yesterday sleeping in the laundry basket. She got up in the evening, and shifted to the couch.

    Deborah, my cat did exactly the same today - laundry basket, then couch - it's a sign of the great feline uprising, I tell ya - they're synching!
