I'm not entirely sure he was conceding anything really! There was a definite glint in his eye that told of evil plans afoot.
It was Adam that was under attack when I intervened, I fear for his safety. I wonder if the sword training will be adequate defense against the terror that is Tom....
Maybe his glint was that Mum hadn't given him a proper definition of "hit" and was thinking of other ways to cause terror
