Which would be nice if they ever sang more than the one chorus of the one song over and over again. I need to put together a playlist of my favourite Christmas songs so I can switch it on whenever they start and attempt to expand their repertoire.
This one will be on there for starters:

Interesting song Mim. Thanks for sharing.
This is going into my Christmas list - it's awesome.
Isn't it just :-)
It caught me by surprise tonight though, as I was driving to the P&C meeting singing in the car the lines "I'll be seeing my Dad, my brother and sister, my nan and my mum" suddenly belted me over the head with this overwhelming sense of loss. My Grandma is turning 99 on Friday and, assuming she makes it that far this year may well be the last Christmas we have her with us. Plus there's the whole not really talking to my sister these days thing. I had to do deep breaths and think of cheerful things to avoid showing up at the meeting with tears in my eyes.
I just saw a comment you left about going to some blogs the instant they have a new post and about waiting for others and I came over to say hi! I feel the same way! Some blogs are so irrisistable! I have to read them right away. And others are nice every few days : )
PS LOVE the picture in your blog header! SO pretty!
i wanted to buy this song last christmas but the slack bugger had not got around to releasing it.
So true! The lyrics are fantastic. Makes me homesick and I'm not away from home. Odd.
My fav is Fairytale of NewYork sung by No Use For A Name here you go... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqDOsXbeStI&feature=related it's a Rotten slideshow of animals dressed up but it's the only one I can find that's not live.
I prefer no use for a name than the pogues version. It's punkier!
=)
I soooo adore Tim Minchin.
